@brett Last weekend’s World Cup XC MTB race, though. Wow! ‘Strayans take U23 women’s and elite men’s races. There was an Absaloncopter. More of a slam straight onto the ground, breaking the RD. Mud, rain. Excitement! I’ve watched it three times this we… »

Just tried on this helmet at the LMTBS. Ridiculously comfortable. I wish they made road helmets. I’m going to ask for one for my birthday next month. http://www.troyleedesigns.com/bicycle/helmets/a1-helmets »
@JohnB I don’t understand the philosophy of putting a skinny tire on the front. Aerodynamically, you need to cut a hole into the air for your body to pass through. Look at the specs on the Enve aero rims. The front wheel is 2mm wider, not skinnier. ht… »

@RedRanger Super technical. Roots, rocks, twists, turns. Mostly forest. Racing has shown me all the great trails around here, many within 45 minutes of my house (by car). »
One thing I love about mountain bike racing is the silence of the forest after everyone has passed you and you’re just pedaling along, carrying the larnterne rouge. Last place today. At least I finished! And had fun. »
