@The Mosquito's activity:

As a dyed-in-the-wool Northerner, my time living in the South was a mixed bag. Southerners think differently, speak differently, eat differently, and prioritize life differently than do Yankees. In many ways, I became a better person during my time in the South, learning to relax a little bit and stop chasing my tail over everything all the time...

@The Mosquito's posts:

  1. I had plans to drive 3.5 hours from Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday to catch the races, then drive back. Really made no sense, but I was going to do it. Even found a guy with free VIP passes in a tent with food and beer. Then the schedule changed, couldn’t make… »

It has been a crazy year, this, with our first annual Keepers Tour sorted, partnerships with the industry’s leading icons including Johan Museeuw, Pavé Cycling Classics, DeFeet, Fizik, and Lezyne – and a book deal to boot (deadline looming large on January 1st). 2. I am sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I have a question about rule compliance. Is the entire Rapha line the full embodiment of The Rules, with the utmost respect for The Bike and The Ride, or is it just clothing for a bunch of pretentious w… »

Does a bike have a soul? I can’t make that argument, I don’t think I do either, actually. But we do invest a lot of emotion, pride and dare I say love in our bikes. We form emotional bonds to inanimate objects all the time. My favorite old dead car had to sit in the driveway for another year falling further into rusty disrepair before...

@The Mosquito's posts:

  1. I have a Renovo hardwood bike (renovobikes.com), so my frame was, actually, a living, breathing thing. It definitely has soul. And, to paraphrase James Brown, I know I got soul. And I agree with @Oli’s distinction, myself included. »
