Ride Description
What more needs to be said about this mountain. One of the truly iconic climbs of the greatest race on earth, all 264V metres of it. Along the way we’ll also get to bag the Col du Telegraphe for good measure.
After meeting in Saint Jean de Maurienne we’ll use the roll along the valley road as a nice warm up before we reach Saint Jean de Maurienne, the town at the base of the climb. From there, the only way is up. Our first target will be the Col du Telegraph at a mere 1566m, and from there it’s on to Valloire and the start of the climb proper. See you at the top……
As the saying goes,what goes up must come down, and we’ll retrace our steps back to Saint Jean de Maurienne for well earned Malted Recovery Beverage Consumption.
