Description: This Cogal will be run over my favorite roads, found through kilometer-after-kilometer of riding and joyful experimentation. It’ll be a twisting ride through the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine – an area shaped millions of years ago by glaciers – lots of ridges and undulating roads. We’ll ride on very few main roads so group riding should be fine. It has also been designed to eliminate any traffic lights from the route. The Cogal has been designed with an eye to good surfaces, lack of traffic, picturesque nature and a route that will mitigate any nasty winds. There will be some flats, but much of the route is rolling with quite few little steep bergs to test the legs. There will be various rest stops along the way at gas stations for refueling; the first at around 60 kms, thereafter every 25-30 kms.
