Point of clarification. When I asked who the rainbow turd was it wasn’t upon one of Cipo’s numerous sprint stage wins. Quite the oposite, although I think in the same Giro. Upon taking his lead out he began his break for the line early and was summarily swallowed up and shat out the rear of the bunch. It was hilarious, even to a newbie at the time. I think we watched that clip 10 times laughing and repeating the words “rainbow turd” over and over.

Still though the worst kit ever: Rock Racing. Worn by Mario and Hamilton.

Yep, one thing Lance did right was the yellow jersey-only rule.

Julian Dean’s Credit Agricole/NZ champ kit from 2007 was very cool, black and white can’t be done badly really.
