Ron

Turning the cranks, one day at a time. I'm a Yankee originally from upstate NY, now living in the south with my wife, 2 cats, 2 dogs, one field mouse our cats found in the park, and some fish. After being adrift for a year or two after college sports ended, I bought a used road bike. Commuting to work, then weekend rides. Now I'm more or less hooked, but it has been a great addition to my life. I try to remember I'm just riding for fun, but occasionally I'll race and ride too much. Oh, and this is the first sport where being on the small side of things has never been a drawback and maybe is a plus. I LOVE that part. Lots o' bikes. Nice carbon LOOK, nice steel Casati, less nice steel De Bernardi, a fantastic "mid-life crisis" Tommasini, Bianchi track bike, an Al/carbon Van Dessel Gin 'n' Trombones, and a no-name steel cx bike for commuting and touring. Jeez, I didn't realize I had all those until I wrote them down. Couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of this community. It's taken me under its wing and transformed me from a biker to a cyclist!
