Lezyne: Official Keepers Tour Air and Tool supplier

There’s been so much cool stuff going on this week that we’ve hardly had time to scratch ourselves. Riding Roubaix, watching the Ronde, meeting and riding with The Lion of Flanders, and drinking enough Malteni to keep the brewery solvent well into the next decade isn’t an easy gig, but we’ve done it.

On our arrival in Westouter at the fantastic gite the Pavé guys have put us up at, we were greeted with a big box of goodies from our friends at Lezyne. Pumps, tools and cages were distributed among the attendees and Keepers, and so the Air and Tool Supplier for the Keepers Tour became official. We’ve put the cages to the ultimate test on the cobbles with not one bidon ejected, fixed loose saddles and bars with the multi-tools, and pumped up a storm with the beautiful Floor Drive.

We’ve always loved Lezyne’s stuff, as evidenced in many Reverence articles, and to team up with them is a pleasure. Which is more than I can say for bouncing across the Arenberg.

  • Cool stuff. I've appreciated the previous Lezyne articles, but I haven't had the pleasure of working with, or owning, their products yet. It's a good a time to start using them.

And about this first KT: It must be like Christmas, and New Year's, and graduation, and losing your virginity to a supermodel, and passing your driver's test, and getting your first paycheck, all in a week. Kinda. Maybe. Pretty fucking awesome.

  • Lezyne rules re: their pumps. I have one of each of the bikes. The mini pump with the screw-on hose/valve is the tits. No more bent valves when rushing to change a tube. I haven't tried the floor pump but it looks to be a thing of beauty, as do most of their products.
The EMPB replacement satchel is fantastic and fits all that needs to be stored. Cages work nicely and I even have a messenger bag that looks fantastic and has enough compartments and storage thingamijigs to successfully lose track of where I put stuff.
All of these items are solid, durable, stylish, quality items which don't cost an arm and a leg.
Bless their cotton socks (if they made them?)for being a great and generous company to boot. Chapeau to The Keepers for their choice in product.

  • @Ron
Is it a French company? If so I think it'd be Lay-zeen.

It's lovely stuff but my valves have no threads so the track pump is no use to me.

  • While all this riding in France and Belgium sounds good, I bet you are all even more jealous that you aren't in Melbourne for the Track World Champs. On my way to the track shortly to watch the Team Pursuit final - GB qualified first, AUS second in the third and fifth fastest times ever.

Add to that the Womens Team Pursuit, the Mens and Women's Team Sprint (Hoy v Perkins, Pendleton v Meares) and the Mens Scratch Race - and you have a pretty solid night on the boards.

    WHO NEEDS FLANDERS WEEK??

They're american i think, but don't hold that against them ;¬) They make some really lovely stuff. My favourite has to be the trigger drive.

I'm jealous. I'm gonna have to start taking spelling tips from JiPM.

Do let us know who wins the Mens Pursuit as soon as it is over Marcus

  • Well, it wasn't Australia. How about the sprint qualifying! Holy fuck what's going on there!

  • @minion
I missed the Great Britain DQ. Don't know what happened there. Great sprint final. Matthew Glaetzer brought it home super smooth.
