First run in 2002, the GP de Plouay-Bretagne is part of the women’s UCI World Cup series. It’s 4.5 laps totaling 121km. As usual, there is little information or publicity for yet another women’s UCI race. Here is a start list. Here is the official French website. And yes, Ms. Vos won the last two editions. We regret the lack of a write up for this race but we are frustrated by the lack of basic publicity. True, there is a Grand Tour going on and it’s a Tour with a stellar line up but shouldn’t the UCI whip up some excitement for a race in their World Cup?
Do not Delgado, the betting window closes Friday night, Pacific coast time, USA. Don’t ask why.

Aaah....a week in deep dark Wales has handed me my second Delgado of the season. My only consollation is that I was on a bike riding!
@LeoTea takes the Ladies GP de Plouay, nice one mate!
@piwakawaka It was a great race.
You beat me to posting the video link!
Ride on.
Julian
@Julian Winn everyone should at least click the UCI link to the race even if you don't watch it, just to support the women.
@Julian Winn
Julian Winn? Julian Winn?
@frank Have to admit, that was a total guess. Figured Lizzie might want to celebrate with a win, so stuck Vos in second. Had no clue about the other places. Couldn't even find a link to the course profile, so didn't know if it suited a sprinter like van der Breggen or Kirsten Wild.
Stuck Tiffany Cromwell in 5th based purely on name recognition. Then saw her crop up on serveral other lists. Wasn't sure if I had made a lucky guess, or if others were simply looking to see what the early entrants had picked (which I've never, ever done for any of the ladies VSP events.....)
But hey, a win is a win is a win.
Delgado. This is a terrible VSP season for me.
@frank
Damn! Pipped on the line by the width of a tire!
